Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs The Province recognizes the growing demand for primary care services and the challenges associated with securing clinic and community health spaces in communities across British Columbia. The Amenity Cost Charge ACC framework was established in Fall 2023 to help local governments fund the capital costs of amenities needed to support population growth and new housing supply. ACCs help fund amenities that provide social, cultural, heritage, recreational, or environmental benefits to a community such as community centres, recreational facilities, libraries, and childcare spaces.
