Hotel Accommodations for the 2020 UBCM Convention
The 2020 UBCM Convention is going virtual! UBCM is working through cancellation policies details with the official hotels for the 2020 convention. We will provide updates on those policies below and via the Compass once discussions are completed.
If you made hotel reservations outside of the official room blocks, please contact your hotel to make the cancellation directly.
The Reservations are the sole responsibility of the local government. Please be aware of any reservation policies, cancellation dates, fees and deposits for each hotel property.

Fraud Alert
It has come to our attention that agencies may be soliciting sponsors and attendees of the Union of BC Municipalities’ (UBCM) Annual Convention to book hotel rooms through their organization. Please beware that these organizations are not operating on our behalf and could be engaged in fraudulent activities.
UBCM has not made any agreements with any agencies that offer reservation assistance, nor have we provided any information to anyone for this purpose. If you are contacted, please do not give out your personal information. The hotels listed above are working with UBCM for the 2020 Annual Convention and it is advisable to book through the hotels directly. We assure you that UBCM has NOT provided your contact details to any travel organizations. If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of a caller in relation to the UBCM Convention, please do not hesitate to contact us.
