When registration opens on July 4, there will be a link added to the 2023 Convention webpage.  Registration is simple and done online.

The registration rates have not yet been set. The registration rates will be released in June.  

UBCM accepts Visa and MasterCard payments. Payment is required to complete your registration.  Login credentials will not be forwarded until your credit card has been successfully processed.

UBCM will refund 100% if you cancel by August 4, 2023. There will be a 50% refund if you cancel between August 5 – 18, and no refund will be issued thereafter. Future registration credits are not available.

The UBCM hotel blocks are now fully sold out. UBCM will not be adding additional rooms or hotels to the block. We recommend booking rooms at alternative hotels in the area. The room blocks typically open in October of each year for the next Convention, and sell out very quickly. We recommend signing up for our Compass Newsletter to keep up to date on these announcements.

Yes!  There will be a Trade Show held during the 2023 Convention. You can find details on how to exhibit and FAQ regarding the Trade Show here. If you are interested in exhibiting please reach out to Karen Slessor, Trade Show Coordinator at tradeshow@ubcm.ca.

Yes, there are sponsorship opportunities for the 2023 Convention. Returning sponsors will be contacted in early 2023 to secure their sponsorships. If you would like to learn more about sponsorships for the Convention please contact Kelsey Mackay-Smith at kmackaysmith@ubcm.ca.

It has come to our attention that agencies are circulating a fraudulent letter to past participants of the UBCM Trade Show to provide company data about their organization. Please be aware that these organizations are not operating on our behalf and could be engaged in fraudulent activities. If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of any contact in relation to the UBCM Convention and Trade Show, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

UBCM follows a session proposal process to select the clinic and workshop topics for the Convention. The submission process was open April 25 – June 2, 2023.  If you submitted a proposal, you will be informed of the results by July 21, 2023.  

Yes, there will be childminding services available Monday through Friday for UBCM members. It is offered to members at $30 per day / per child and will be run out of the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver by a fully licensed childminding care provider. The registration package for parents will be available when registration opens on July 4. If you have further questions regarding the childminding service please contact Raisa Jose at rjose@ubcm.ca.
