UBCM has secured the services of a professional virtual event planning company to bring the Convention to life for 2020. The company has over nine years of virtual events experience including hybrid and fully virtual conferences.
UBCM staff are collaborating with the events team to build a custom virtual lobby which will be the hub for Convention. The focus for the lobby is to be user-friendly and as simple for delegates to navigate as possible. Staff understand that for many UBCM members a virtual Convention is new territory and want to assure members that there will be updates, instructions, and technical support leading up to and during Convention.
UBCM selected the professional virtual event planning company versus purchasing a platform directly for the additional support their team will provide. Delegates will have access to a support team who has been hosting virtual events for many years. The individual meeting rooms for each component of the Convention will use the platform that is best suited for that session, but will be integrated to create a seamless experience.
