Due to the significant rise in COVID-19 cases in BC, the Electoral Area Directors’ Forum has been postponed. The re-scheduled event will take place on April 5 - April 6 at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC. The LGLA Forum will immediately follow from April 6-8 at the same location.
Those registered for the Forum will retain their registration for the new April dates. If you cannot make those dates, please contact UBCM and we will refund your registration.
Delegates that have already booked a hotel room for the event in the UBCM/LGLA hotel block are advised that those reservations have been cancelled. The hotel is in the process of setting up a new room block for the April dates. Please wait until UBCM confirms the block is open before attempting to rebook your hotel reservation. We appreciate your patience as we make these changes.
Delegates that made reservations outside of the room block or at an alternate hotel are advised to contact the hotel to make the necessary changes.
If you have not registered for the forum, registration is open until March 25, 2022.
The Forum cost is $150 plus tax, and includes a light lunch on Tuesday, coffee and tea throughout the event, the reception on Tuesday evening and a hot breakfast on Wednesday. Cancellations provided by April 1 will receive a full refund.
Please be advised that to protect the health and safety of staff and attendees, UBCM adheres to the order of the Provincial Health Officer that all attendees must be fully vaccinated to attend this event and will be asked to show proof of vaccination (photo identification and vaccine card) at the registration desk on site.
