Call for EA Director Forum topics

Electoral Area Directors, Regional District Chairs and staff are invited to submit topics for the Electoral Area Directors’ Forum in 2022. The deadline for topic submissions is December 1. Forum registration is open now.   

UBCM’s Electoral Area Directors’ Forum returns in 2022 as an in-person event, on February 8 (afternoon) and February 9 (morning). The EAD conference focuses on issues of concern to Electoral Area Directors and provides an opportunity to discuss common problems and share potential solutions.  

The event will be held at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC. The conference is open to Regional District Chairs; Electoral Area Directors and their alternates; and regional district staff.

Please register by January 28, 2022. The Forum cost is $150 plus tax, and includes a light lunch on Tuesday, coffee and tea throughout the event, the reception on Tuesday evening and a hot breakfast on Wednesday. Cancellations provided by January 28 will receive a full refund.

The Forum will be held in conjunction with the Local Government Leadership Academy Forum to help reduce costs and provide an opportunity for delegates to attend both learning events.

Delegates may also reserve accommodation at this time. Please mention that you are staying with the LGLA/UBCM block.
