Publishing Date
The BC Government launched engagement on a new provincial Watershed Security Strategy and Fund on January 25, and has prepared a discussion paper to provide background information and enable input on a broad range of watershed security related themes. The themes include watershed governance, data and science, reconciliation, drinking water, land use planning, supply and demand, and funding.
The deadline for submitting feedback on the discussion paper is March 18, 2022 via written submissions or using the feedback form. Input from this engagement process will be used to develop options for a Watershed Security Strategy and Fund. A draft Watershed Security Strategy will be released for a second period of engagement in Fall 2022.
