Increased funding through Community to Community Forum

Applications are being accepted for the 2021/22 Regional Community to Community (C2C) Forum program. To support dialogue related to COVID-19 response and recovery, grants now cover up to 100% of eligible forum costs. Funding permitting, there will be three intakes available over the fiscal year.

Applicants will be notified of the status of their application within 30 days of the following application deadlines: 

  • April 1, 2021 - for events between April 19, 2021 and March 31, 2022
  • September 10, 2021 - for events between September 27, 2021 and March 31, 2022
  • December 3, 2021 - for events between January 1 and March 31, 2022

Applicants are reminded that in-person meetings should meet physical distancing and other public health guidance in relation to COVID-19.  The C2C Forum program can also support virtual events; however, the purchase of video conferencing software or licenses are not eligible expenses.

Since 1999, the provincial Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Indigenous Services Canada have provided funding for the C2C program. In this time, more than 650 C2C Forums have been held in communities across the province.
