The following funding programs are available through Local Government Program Services:

Age-friendly Communities

  • Grants under the 2019 Age-friendly program have been awarded.

Asset Management Planning Program

  • Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 program.  Deadlines: May 3 and Octover 4, 2019.
  • Grants under the 2018 program have been awarded.

Child Care Funding

  • Grants under the 2019 Community Child Care Planning Program have been awarded.
  • Applications for the 2019 Community Child Care Space Creation Program are under review.

Community Emergency Preparedness Fund

  • Grants under the 2018 Emergency Social Services funding stream have been awarded.
  • Grants under the 2018 Evacuation Route Planning funding stream have been awarded.
  • Grants under the 2019 Emergency Operations Centres & Training have been awarded.
  • Applications for the 2019 Flood Risk Assessment, Flood Mapping & Flood Mitigation Planning funding stream are under review.
  • 2019 Structural Flood Mitigation.  Deadline: October 25, 2019

Community Resiliency Investment Program

  • Applications for the 2019 FireSmart Community Funding & Supports program are under review.

Housing Needs Reports program

  • This program is under development

Regional Community to Community Forum Program

  • Applications are now being accepted for the 2019/20 C2C program.
  • Grants under the 2018/19 program have been awarded.  Final reports are due within 30 days of completed events and no later than April 30, 2019.

Strategic Wildfire Prevention Initiative

  • Applications are no longer being accepted.

Urban Communities Partnering for Reconciliation Pilot Program

  • Applications are now being accepted.  Application deadline: May 24, 2019.
