The B.C. Local Government RCMP Contract Management Committee (LGCMC) is a forum for consultation, analysis and communication between local government and the Province regarding the management of the Agreement under which the RCMP provide local police services in BC. The Committee is also mandated to analyze and respond to changes proposed by the federal government or the RCMP. Where necessary or appropriate, the LGCMC may recommend changes to the federal government or the RCMP.

The Co-Chairs of the Local Government Contract Management Committee represent the B.C. Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, and the UBCM Executive, respectively.
