Bylaw Adjudication Program survey

The Province is seeking input from local governments to better understand issues impacting the Bylaw Adjudication Program. Local governments are encouraged to complete the Province’s survey, which will remain open until September 25, 2024. The Bylaw Adjudication Program provides B.C. local governments with an alternative out-of-court approach to adjudicating bylaw infractions.

Input sought for Disaster Mapping Project

Researchers from the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University are undertaking a disaster mapping project to track and tally the costs of disasters and states of emergency across the province.

This project aims to equip communities and decision-makers with detailed information, including historic and projected cost estimates, that promote proactive climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and climate justice planning.

Input sought for Convention Forums

Tuesday, September 17 is Forum Day at UBCM Convention. Whether you are an electoral area director, urban mayor, councillor from a small community, or from somewhere in-between, there is a forum for you. Help shape the agendas for this year's forums by emailing your topic requests by Friday, July 5.
