Registration is now open for the 2026/2027 Elected Officials Seminar series hosted by the Local Government Leadership Academy. Designed for new and returning local government and First Nation elected officials, the EOS provides practical knowledge, leadership skills and valuable peer connections to support success in office.
Participants will strengthen their understanding of governance, decision-making, financial stewardship, land use planning, respectful governance, crisis leadership and more through interactive learning, real-world scenarios, facilitated discussions and networking opportunities.
The EOS Series will be offered in five regional locations across BC between December 2026 and February 2027. Whether you are beginning your first term or building on years of experience, the program offers practical tools and insights to help you lead effectively in today’s local government environment.
