Funding streams under the Community Emergency Preparedness Fund have been confirmed for fall 2026 and winter 2027 and intakes open September 1. A webinar will be held on October 6 to explore the intakes.
The following intakes have been scheduled:
Emergency Support Services Equipment and Training: application deadline is October 16, 2026 and the funding maximum is $30,000.
Foundations of Disaster Risk Reduction: application deadline is November 20, 2026 and the funding maximum is $150,000. This new funding stream is similar to Category 1 and Category 2 of the previous Disaster Risk Reduction-Climate Adaptation funding stream.
Emergency Operations Centres Equipment and Training: application deadline is February 26, 2027 and the funding maximum is $30,000.
Program materials are available now. Eligible applicants will be able to start submitting applications as of September 1, 2026.

Funding for CEPF is provided by the Province of BC and administered by UBCM.
