The Union of B.C. Municipalities and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities are calling for local government representation in a recently announced federal – provincial committee on disaster response and climate resilience. The committee was announced in the wake of the flooding that has devastated communities, homes, businesses and infrastructure since mid-November.
