Application materials are now available for the winter 2026 / spring 2027 intakes:
2026 Emergency Support Services Equipment and Training – The intent of this funding stream is to support eligible applicants to build local capacity to provide emergency support services through ESS volunteer/responder recruitment, retention and training, and the purchase of essential ESS equipment. Applications are being accepted until October 16, 2026.
2026 Foundations of Disaster Risk Reduction – The intent of the Foundations of Disaster Risk Reduction funding stream is to reduce public safety risks from natural hazards and climate-related events by improving the understanding of risk and risk reduction options and developing plans and designs to enable the implementation of risk reduction solutions. Applications are accepted until November 20, 2026.
2027 Emergency Operations Centres Equipment and Training – The intent of this funding stream is to support eligible applicants to build local capacity through the purchase of essential equipment and supplies required to maintain or improve an EOC and to enhance EOC capacity through training and exercises. Applications are being accepted until February 26, 2027.
