The 2025 Convention event app is ready for use. The app provides convenient access to the Convention program including session descriptions, times and locations.
New this year, the app is integrated with the voting portal. Voting delegates can login directly through the app to cast votes for the next UBCM Executive, and in tie-breaking resolutions votes. Non-voting delegates do not need to login.
App Access
The app is web-based and does not need to be downloaded from an app store, but can simply be pinned to a home page. Scan the QR code or visit: dotsconnect.live/ubcm/2025-ubcm-convention.
- On an iPhone: open the webpage and press the share icon (↑) and click Add to Home Screen.
- On an Android: open the webpage and press the three horizontal lines on the top right and press Add to Home Screen.
- On a Desktop device, open the webpage and save as a bookmark or Add to Dock from the share icon.
Voting
The app is powered by Data On The Spot (DOTS) who have provided electronic voting support for several years at Convention.
On September 15, voting delegates will receive an email from Data On The Spot (DOTS) with sign-in credentials and instructions, and a request to complete a test vote.
The voting portal will be used for delegates to select their next UBCM Executive, and during resolutions debate where hand votes are too close to call.
Support
The DOTS team will be on site at Convention for voting and app support. DOTS has prepared a playlist of instructional videos to get started with the app.
