UBCM members are invited to join an online session on April 9, from 2:30 – 3:30 pm, for an overview of modern treaties in BC. The presentation will outline the history of treaty negotiations, recent policy developments and the role of local governments.
The webinar will feature BC Treaty Commissioner George Abbott and BC Treaty Commission Directors Mark Smith and Sashia Leung.
This session is intended exclusively for local government elected officials and staff, who are encouraged to register in advance.
