Dental Care for Citizens of BC

WHEREAS access to regular dental checkups and cleanings may prevent other medical problems; AND WHEREAS universal access to dental care may be considered a socially progressive benefit for the citizens of British Columbia: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Union of British Columbia Municipalities petition the provincial government to include dental care under the Medical Services Plan of British Columbia.
