The RCMP Municipal Police Unit Agreements webinar has been rescheduled to June 4, 2024, 10-11:30 am. Communities with a Municipal Police Unit Agreement (MPUA) are invited to register for this webinar, which will focus on the authorities and responsibilities of municipalities with an MPUA.
Other local governments that receive RCMP policing services, including those that expect to grow to more than 5,000 people by the next federal census and may wish to enter into an MPUA with the Province, are also welcome to attend.
Attendees will be able to ask questions directly related to MPUAs and issues discussed during the webinar. Elected officials and staff must register in advance.
A recording of the webinar will be made available for those unable to attend.
