Communities with a Municipal Police Unit Agreement (MPUA) are invited to a webinar hosted by UBCM and the Province on May 7, 10-11:30am PDT. Elected officials and staff are invited to attend the webinar, which will focus on the authorities and responsibilities of municipalities with an MPUA.
Communities that expect to grow to more than 5,000 people by the next census, and may wish to enter into an MPUA with the Province, are also welcome to attend.
Attendees will be able to ask questions directly related to MPUAs and issues discussed during the webinar.
Elected officials and staff must register in advance.
