CivX: Local Governments and the Sharing Economy

On Wednesday, April 12, local government staff and elected officials are invited to attend CivX 2017. This one-day event hosted by LMLGA and CivicInfo BC will provide an engaging conversation with some of the movers and shakers in today’s shared economy. 

The event will feature six thought-provoking speakers and one panel discussion from both industry and government. Learn about sharing economy projects and policies from municipalities and regional districts across British Columbia - and how your community can benefit from them.

  • Blockchain@UBC. Dr. Victoria Lemieux, University of British Columbia.
  • Queen’s Printer of British Columbia. Spencer Tickner, Director.
  • LocoBC. Amy Robinson, Director.
  • A panel of industry, academic, and municipal experts discussing Airbnb and short term rentals
