Registration Open for CEOs Forum

Mark your calendars - the Local Government Leadership Academy’s Chief Elected Officials Forum will be held December 6-7, 2016 in Richmond, British Columbia. Registration is now open for this unique forum provided for Mayors, Chiefs and Board Chairs.  

The session will be guided by Gordon McIntosh, who has 36 years of executive, consultant and educator experience and has conducted 1,200 sessions involving 130,00 elected and appointed civic leaders throughout Canada and overseas.  The most valuable resource in the room, though, is your peers as we explore models, tools and strategies to deal with the “real life” leadership challenges you are facing.

Please also remember that Oct 15 is the deadline to apply for the Cathy Watson Memorial Award – providing one elected official who may otherwise be unable to attend the annual forum with complimentary registration, accommodation and travel assistance.

In the coming weeks the LGLA will also be sharing information on the Province-wide Leadership Forum that will be held February 1-3, 2017.
