Survey: Healthy Built Environment Linkages Toolkit

The Provincial Health Services Authority is asking local governments to complete a short survey to find out more about how the Healthy Built Environment Linkages Toolkit has been used, possible impacts on built environment awareness and decision making processes, and which components have been most helpful for different stakeholders.

The Toolkit was launched in April 2014 as a project of the Provincial Health Services Authority and the Healthy Built Environment Alliance. It is intended to be a conversation starter document for public health professionals, community planners and local government representatives who share a responsibility to promote active living and to shape healthier built environments. It provides evidence-based and expert-informed messages for use in communications and discussions of health and the built environment.

If this is the first time you have received the Toolkit, your input is still valued. The survey is tailored towards the extent of your knowledge or use of the Toolkit.

The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and is completely confidential. Your data will never be linked with your name or contact information.  Please feel free to forward the survey link to others who may have an interest in the Toolkit or promoting healthy built environments.   Deadline to complete is Wednesday, March 11th.  By completing the survey you will be entered to win a 16 GB iPad Mini in your choice of color.

If you have any questions about the survey or the Toolkit itself, please contact Charito Gailling, Project Manager, Provincial Health Services Authority (604) 875-7385.
