Flood Risk Assessment, Mapping & Mitigation Planning

The intent of this funding stream is to support eligible applicants to ensure they have accurate knowledge of the flood hazards they face and to develop effective strategies to mitigate and prepare for those risks. The maximum available funding is $150,000.

2020 Program

Due to COVID-19, the adjudication process for this funding stream may be longer than 90 days. 

2019 Program

Extensions to project end dates and final report deadlines are available for any approved project impacted by COVID-19.  Please contact (250) 387-4470 or cepf@ubcm.ca to request an extension.

All funded activities are required to take place within one year of notification of funding approval and the final report is due within 30 days of project completion.  Applicants approved under the 2019 program should refer to:
