Stream Us and Them for National Housing Day

UPDATED: To mark November 22 as National Housing Day, Us and Them, a documentary on homelessness and addiction, will be available for streaming until Sunday at midnight.  Filmmaker Krista Loughton is providing this opportunity in hope that more elected officials and decision makers will be inspired by the film.

Us and Them shatters misconceptions about why people end up on the streets. Filmed in downtown Victoria, the film could take place in any Canadian city or town.

Loughton is just returned from a two-month tour with the film, which has been seen in 24 communities since September, including a special UBCM Convention screening which featured trauma and addictions expert Dr. Gabor Maté, who also appears in the film.

Us and Them may be streamed free of charge through Thursday. It is also available for purchase and for licensed screenings.
