Interested in Climate Change Planning?

From November 1-3, the BC Municipal Climate Leadership Council will be hosting the Climate Leadership Institute (CLI) in Richmond, BC for local elected officials and senior staff involved in climate change planning. This year’s theme is Deepening Climate Leadership – Lessons from the Front Lines.

Participants will gain practical skills and knowledge on communicating the importance of climate action, incorporating a climate action lens in local decisions, and implementing successful climate and energy initiatives to lead their communities into a green future. 

Keynote speakers, peer panels and dialogue sessions will offer something for communities of all sizes and from all geographic regions. To learn more about the program and to register, visit the website.

Elected officials earn 3 credit hours toward any level of LGLA certification.
