Online Community Energy Management Courses

Community Energy Association (CEA) is partnering with the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in 2016 to deliver the six online courses that qualify students to write CEA’s Community Energy Management certification exam.

City-builders across Canada are now being asked to consider energy efficiency, renewable energy and greenhouse gas reductions in their day-to-day work. These courses in Community Energy Management provide the background needed to respond to these new demands, while creating a cross-Canada cohort for networking and consultation.

Courses include Community-Based Renewable Energy and Reducing Emissions from New & Existing Buildings. Registration is open until February 2, 2016 for the introductory prerequisite course, Introduction to Community Energy & Emissions Planning, which begins on February 3, 2016.

Interested individuals can contact Pat Bell, Head of Planning and Director of Education at CEA.

For more information please see the BCIT registration site or the CEA education website.
