Gang Violence Focus of Convention Session

The prevalence of gang related violence in communities is a concern for many in British Columbia. A half-day session on Monday September 26 at UBCM’s Convention will examine the perception of gang violence relative to the scope of the issue and discuss approaches to improve community safety.  

The panel members for this session, Gang Violence in Our Communities, are drawn from media; local and provincial government; and the RCMP:

  • Councillor Mike Starchuk, City of Surrey – Panel Member
