Assessing Asset Management

An Assessment on Asset Management form is now available for local governments. Completion of this form is required as a component of the local government commitment to show progress in asset management under the federal Gas Tax Agreement.

The Assessment on Asset Management form will provide each local government with ‘baseline’ information on their current state and support identifying direction on progressing in asset management over the term of the Agreement. This assessment will also meet UBCM’s Gas Tax Fund reporting requirements to both the Federal and Provincial governments by providing information on asset management practices in BC. The data collected for this assessment will be used to generate a provincial perspective on asset management and the findings will only be shared cumulatively. The deadline for submission of the assessment form is July 15, 2016.
