Let’s Prosper Together Says Green Leader

Adam Olsen used much of his final speech to UBCM as Interim Green Party Leader to encourage delegates to embrace relations with their neighbouring First Nations communities.

Connecting senior staff and elected officials from our respective communities will result in enduring and resilient relationships, said the Tsartlip band member and former District of Central Saanich councillor. “Only by working together will both prosper.”

Olsen indicated that the Green’s support for natural resource development differs from the current government’s approach.  “Frankly, our province is falling behind,” he warned. “Stop hollowing out our province and start investing in it,” he said.
