The following is a summary of the resolutions and positions adopted during the September 24 policy session at the 2014 Convention. The full and exact wording of any amendments will appear in the Convention Minutes.

Therefore be it resolved that as a condition to establishing a worker camp, the Province be requested to establish a single window approval process for all industries that allows for comment from any agency, regulator and local government that has interest in the operation, safety, health and socioeconomic impacts associated with the camp;

And be it further resolved that the Province establish an overarching authority to coordinate work camp development and monitor work camp operations.

A motion, duly moved and seconded, to remove the following resolutions from the Section B – Part 1 block and admit them for individual debate, was endorsed.

The Resolutions Committee recommendations on the remaining Section B – Part 1 resolutions were endorsed as a block. This means that the remaining Section B – Part 1 resolutions were endorsed, and the following Section B – Part 1 resolutions were amended as proposed.
