Project Progress Reaches out to Young Women

FCM’s Head Start For Young Women in Grand Forks extends an invitation to women in local government to attend Project Progress, a conference offering young women and politicians an opportunity to build skills, strategic relationships and increase youth participation.  

The conference will be held October 3-5, 2014.  Deadline for registration is September 26th.  Registration is limited to the first 75 registrants.

Every attending politician is requested to bring one or two young women from their community to this conference.

FCM's Head Start for Young Women is a one-year pilot program coordinated by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities with funding provided by the Status of Women Canada.The Project Progress conference is also supported through generous local, regional and province-wide sponsors.  Grand Forks is the only community in Western Canada chosen to hold a Project Progress conference in the current round.
