Health and the Built Environment Webinar

Community Health Networking-Works is hosting a webinar to provide an overview of the Healthy Built Environment Linkages Toolkit. This resource is designed to assist planners, health care professionals and local governments to include ‘health' as part of the discussion in land use decisions.

Local governments make land use decisions that affect how residents can live healthy, active lives – from ensuring sidewalk connections to funding recreational facilities. This toolkit is a compilation of these decisions and their impact. The webinar will include an a discussion by planners, local government official, and health care professional.

Webinar will be held April 30th, 2014 from 10-11 am PST, with a continued discussion from 11-11:30 am PST.
