2015 Elected Officials Seminars Registration Open

Registration for the 2015 Local Government Leadership Academy (LGLA) Elected Officials Seminars (EOS) for newly elected and returning elected officials is now open. Eight seminars will be held in January and February 2015 – for small and large communities, electoral areas and in each of the five main regions of the province.

LGLA’s previous EOS events were highly rated by participants.  They are an invaluable introduction to local governance for newly elected officials and a perfect opportunity for returning elected officials to reconnect, recharge, and get ready for another term in office.

Delegates to the 2015 EOS will attend plenary sessions together, as well as sessions specifically tailored to newly elected and returning elected officials. Programming will cover roles and responsibilities, meeting procedures, local government law, citizen engagement, communications and media relations, community planning, municipalities and regional districts, local government financial management, and more.

Registration is now open and our hotels are taking reservations.  Don’t delay – space is limited.
