What is CivX?
CivX events are an idea exchange for anyone within the BC local government sector.  Each event focuses on a specific theme, and features short, 20-minute presentations that showcase innovative ideas and projects. Presenters may come from local governments, academia, not-for-profits, or the private sector. Anyone with an interesting story to share may be invited to present, although commercial sales pitches are not permitted.

Who should attend?
Anyone in the local government sector is encouraged to attend, including elected officials, staff, and people who work for local government oriented companies and not-for-profits.  The mix of attendees is deliberately broad to encourage an exchange of ideas across a diverse range of people within the sector.
