Emergency Planning

The Emergency Planning program was developed in 2004 with funding from the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General. The intent of the program was to provide support for communities in developing emergency preparedness strategies.

Grants of up to $5,000 were available to develop, upgrade, and exercise community plans, as well as provide emergency response training to key local government personnel.
